Color After Care

Pre-booking proper maintenance appointments ensures your hair will stay in the best condition possible.

Always make sure to use professional hair products. We will go over the best regimen for your individual hair.

Always shampoo your hair twice. We recommend Kevin Murphy Maxi Wash for your first shampoo to break down any build up that may occur between washes.

Always use K18 leave in mask for 4 consecutive washes after your color service then transition to using it every 4th wash. 

Use a hair detangler/primer after shampooing followed by a GLOW brush to detangle your hair in the most gentle way. Start at the ends and work your way up.

Always use a heat protectant before blow drying your hair and then again before heat styling. 

When using heat tools on your hair, always keep the temperature below 350 degrees and drop the temperature even lower on the hairline if possible. Try to only heat style your hair once per shampoo.

The minerals in our water are not so kind to hair color. We recommend installing a shower filter. It will help prevent color fading, brassiness and straw like or slimy feeling hair.
